High Technology and EducationOnce two months, namely, every first week of a month beginning from January, 1998 an international seminar "High Technology and Education" will be held in Korolev. It is organized for teachers of universities, colleges and schools specializing in mathematics, computing, physics, programming and other exact sciences. All guests of the seminar will visit Russian Space Mission Control Center, take part in a live communication session with the space station MIR or the new International Space Station, familiarize themselves with the work of a team controlling the flight of space stations, visit Russian Cosmonauts Training Center and the Museum of Rocket Space Corporation "Energia". Chief experts of space technology enterprises of Korolev, well-known Russian cosmonauts and also top specialists of Department of Education will give a number of lectures for participants of the seminar. At your free time we shall organize an interesting social program (sightseeing in Moscow and Korolev, visit to the Kremlin, Moscow museums, the Bolshoi Theater, a conservatory, a Moscow circus and others). The duration of the seminar is 5 days.
